Welcome to the farmhouse “La Fenice”

800 meters above sea level, between Tolè and Rocca di Roffeno (near Bologna), there is a village from the 16th century named “Ca’ de’ Gatti”, after the name of its first owner.
In this place – surrounded by intimate and harmonious green hills, with the horizon drawing profiles of the highest peaks of the Emilian Apennines – we have created the farmhouse “La Fenice”.
The building, which exists since the 16th century, has been thoughtfully renovated respecting its original character and historical contest it belongs to, thus creating a place where you can fully benefit from the calm offered by the contemplation of the landscape, silmply doing nothing around on the sides of the pool or reading a book lying in the shade of a chestnut tree. A place where the air is clean and where hospitality is like what it once was: simple and genuine.
Our guests can reside within old walls, renovated and maintained with care and dedication.
Whenever possible we have preserved the structures in their natural state, and we have also tried to recover some of the furniture. It is in this context, reconstructed with our love and our work, that, we welcome you and your friends, with great pleasure and hospitality
